Baby Nursery Bedding – Reflects The Same Theme As The House

I love baby nursery bedding when it reflects the same theme of the house. My home has the interior decorating theme of shabby chic created by Rachel Ashwell. I have many family pieces that are authentic vintage; from quilts to many other figurines and more. My nursery had to reflect my love of antiques as well as decorating in a cute room for my baby. I received a lot of solid baby blankets as shower gifts and the soft colors fit great in the nursery. The thing I like about decorating with vintage is you have soft faded colors, mostly in small print and this is perfect for a nursery. I have blended in a lot of color but the one theme for the nursery is the soft faded pink. The baby crib is white so the pink and cream blend well. I have also brought in some of the light golden yellow that is my favorite and mix it up with plaids, prints and stripes. I have never been a big fan of cartoon characters in a nursery so I wanted my my nursery bedding to reflect my taste.

Think Past The Nursery – When The Baby Grows

This room looks fabulous now with lovely articles from when I was a newborn that my mom saved for me. However, the colors of the nursery are such that I won’t have to do much changing as my baby isn’t a baby anymore. This room will grow with her and the décor will be perfect for her as well.
