Baby Shower Decorations – Make Them

Baby shower decorations don’t have to be expensive or elaborate. There are some cute ideas out there that just take a little imagination in the decorating department. A great baby shower decoration isn’t purchased from stores. Some easy for decorations are:

You can take a clothesline and hang baby diapers and other little baby clothes decoratively from it and string it through the rooms, then give the clothes to mom
Stack baby books wrapped with fancy ribbon at different heights on the table add toppers of rattles and stuffed baby animals
Use baby bottles as vases to hold all of the flowers on the table. Use single stems of gerbera daisies. You can change the heights as well for decorative interest at the table.
Fill a small wagon with all the little baby supplies
Hang a large open umbrella above the place the mother will open the baby gifts
Have baby lullabies playing in the background. Spell out the baby name in blocks around the room
If you have vintage baby items from childhood, use them as decorations on the table. I have used a baby buggy and little table and chair set. You can also use old tin toys as decorations and drape the table in a patchwork quilt effect with different pieces of fabric
Get a baby shower cake out of diapers or blankets as a decorative centerpiece. It’s really cute and a great gift for mom later on

Use you imagination when it comes to shower decorations. When you decorate it doesn’t have to be elaborate - just imaginative.
