Quilts –Don’t Have to Be Vintage to be Fabulous

What kind of quilt pattern do you like? I have a bedspread that is quilted and it is quite old. I still use it as a decorating accent; but I’m careful because quilts can become very fragile. Interior Decorating with shabby chic accents is style and the added bedding that is lacy or vintage if perfect on my bed. Quilting patterns can be downloaded free from the internet. A color of choice for the bedroom is pastel pink or salmon. This color is prevalent in many bedspreads of a vintage era.

Quilts don’t have to be vintage to be fabulous. The bed in the master bedroom or guest room will be fantastic with just a touch of hand made quilting. Baby quilts are usually smaller and can be hung on the walls for added décor or just that extra touch of quilted grace. The hand made touches are so special and ones that are greatly appreciated for all of the work that went into the quilted piece. I have done a little quilting and I know just how difficult it is. Free form quilting is more my style, but the very detailed quilting is fantastic and has a special place in any room.
