Tailored Bedspreads – For Traditional Bedroom Furniture

Tailored bedspreads are usually bed covers that don’t have frills or ruffles. The lines are clean, sharp and crisp. Traditional bedroom furniture would be ideal for a tailored bedspread. Various fabrics can be used for this type of linen. I like the look of cotton in a solid or pin stripe. Tailoring for a man’s suit is similar in meaning to a tailored bedspread. That is shy the pinstripes and solids look great. A fancy floral print just doesn’t lend itself as well to the clean lines. You would expect to see a few more flounces and ruffles with flower etc. Traditional furniture would look good with both styles.

A Tailored Bedspread – Isn’t Just For The Man

In making reference to the suit, the look of a tailored bedspread lends itself nicely for a man’s bedroom. If there is a man in your life please don’t subject him to lace and flowers or lavender and pink bows. There are so many other choices available that are appropriate. I have a tailored bedspread and a bed skirt that is straight clean lines with only a box pleat. The bed skirt is a muted tone on tone plaid and the tailored bedspread has a few leaves on it. I do not personally like ruffles and so this works well for me and my husband. I also do not have traditional furniture in my bedroom, my furniture is bleached modern. I guess you can have a tailored look and still display a flare for fashion.
